Common questions about World Genetics

Is my raw DNA file uploaded?

No. Raw DNA files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to World Genetics servers.

Which raw DNA files work?

Use an unzipped or zipped raw-data file from 23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, FTDNA, or a similar provider.

What if my paid report fails?

Contact support with your Stripe receipt email, payment date, and a short description of the issue.

Can I get a refund?

World Genetics sells one-time digital DNA ancestry reports. Because each report is generated immediately after payment, completed reports are not refundable unless required by law.

If you paid but your report did not generate because of a technical issue, duplicate charge, or incompatible raw DNA file, contact support. Support requests are reviewed manually.

Completed digital reports are final sale. We do not offer refunds because a user dislikes the interpretation, expected different ancestry results, or wants to run another file after a report has already been generated.

If a refund is required by law or approved for a clear billing error, it is returned through Stripe to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.

Can I reuse my G25 coordinates?

Yes. Save your generated G25 row somewhere private so you can paste it back into the app later.
