World Genetics is designed to convert raw DNA data into a visual ancestry report while minimizing data collection.

Raw DNA files

Your raw DNA file is processed locally in your browser. World Genetics does not upload, receive, store, sell, or share your raw DNA file on its servers.

During checkout in some in-app browsers, the selected raw DNA file may be temporarily stored in your own browser storage so the report can continue after payment. This storage stays on your device/browser and is cleared after the report is generated or expires after a short period.

Generated results

Your generated G25-style coordinates and recent history may be saved in your browser storage so you can return to previous results. You can clear this by clearing your browser site data.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. World Genetics does not store your full card number. Stripe may collect payment details, billing information, fraud-prevention signals, and transaction records according to Stripe's own privacy practices.

Technical data

Our hosting provider and payment provider may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, and security logs. This is used to operate, secure, debug, and improve the website.

Reports and downloads

PDF reports are generated in your browser from the results visible in the app. Downloaded reports are stored wherever you choose to save them.

• You can clear local results by clearing browser storage for worldgenetics.app.
